50th ABS Annual Conference

Professor Payam Akhavan FRSC is the Human Rights Chair at Massey College, University of Toronto, Barrister at Twenty Essex in London, UK, and counsel and advocate before the International Court of Justice. He was previously a UN prosecutor at The Hague and Special Advisor to the International Criminal Court. He delivered the 2017 CBC Massey Lectures and is recipient of the Human Rights Award and Honourary Doctorate from the Law Society of Ontario.
