This session for youth aged 15–21 will be a conversation exploring the period of youth in relation to the intellectual life of the Bahá’í community. Participants will split into two groups, based on high school or university ages. Both groups will draw on the arts throughout the day to enrich their study.
In the university age group, participants will reflect on the concept of discourse and the practices and assumptions in different fields, drawing on guidance from the Universal House of Justice and looking at practical examples of contributions to discourses in light of an evolving conceptual framework.
In the high school age group, participants will explore their role as practitioners of peace, the unique period of youth, and questions about coherence between the various dimensions of their lives, including their service to their communities, their studies, and other life commitments.
This is a full day program with a 2-hour break for lunch.
